Seeking information for Laura MARLIN MARLIN. Married Louis Shelton MARLIN in Dawson, Ga. on 4-18-1894. Laura was born 10-06-1874, either in Alabama or Georgia and died 9-11-1921 in Doerun, Ga. Husband, Louis S., was son of Jessee Mercer MARLIN and was a first cousin of Laura. Thank you.

I am looking for any information on the families of James Dawson "Doss" HENRY and his wife Nancy (Nannie) Lewis MITCHELL. They lived in the Terrell County area before moving to Colquitt County before the turn of the last century.

Also, families of Baldwin MCGILL and his second wife, Martha MOSES. They lived in and around the Terrell County area (Webster, Stewart) for all their lives. They are buried at Poplar Springs.

James HELTON and wife Ellen were listed on the 1880 Terrell Co. Census in district 11 near Parrott. Jesse MCLENDON was living in the household and listed as a nephew. Was Jesse the nephew of Ellen or James HELTON? Joel (Joseph) MCLENDON had a son named Jesse MCLENDON, was this the same person. John W. MCLENDON (brother of Jesse) married Sarah Jane COOK of the same area, is this a connection to the COOK family. Appreciate any information on this family

Nathan COOK born in NC wife Alletha were listed on the 1840 and 1850 Randolph Co. census and listed on the 1860 Terrell Co Census. Their children were Sarah B. COOK married Seaborn HAY, Mary COOK married Owen HANEY, Jesse COOK married Elizabeth BRUNSON, William W. COOK married Jane STOKES, Nathan COOK Jr. married Charolett HOOTEN, Nancy married C.W. RICE and Lousia J. COOK married Silsa SCOTT. Who were the parents of Nathan COOK? Appreciate any information on this family.

I'm searching any data on my g-grandfather and g-grandmother, Harrison NELSON and his wife, Mary (Molly) REID. One of their sons, Isiah NELSON (listed on 1910 census as Isaac) was born in Terrell Co.

The 1910 census lists grandfather Harrison as 60 years old and Grandma "Molly" as 45. He was Black and she was Mulatto. Their birthplaces were listed as Georgia. Your helpful reply to famgly@aol.com would be appreciated.

HELP!!! Searching for Marion Alexander WRIGHT and his parents!!! Marion was born 1854-1856 --somewhere in that time frame. Want info on Robert WRIGHT who appears in the Terrell Co. census of 1860. He is a farmer born in GA. 4 children are listed besides (prob. wife) Sarah (26 Female from NC): Calvin W., John M., Marion A., and Robert G. A Robert E. WRIGHT is found on the Muster Roll of the Terrell Infantry. He was a private March 4, 1862. Indications are that he was born in 1814. He was in Co. F, 51st Reg., in the C.S.A. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Our WRIGHT cousins reunion is in July. I would love to have new info. Marion A. was orphaned as a young man, and raised by a family named Daniel or Daniels (according to family memory). THANKS!!!!

I am planning a trip to Terrell County to visit  some of the cemeteries where my relatives were  buried. Has anyone published a book listing the graves in the Cedar Hill Cemetery at Dawson  or the Chickasawhatchee Methodist Cemetery??

Benjamin MCNEAL born abt 1820, Franklin Co, Ga, moved to Terrell Co aft 1860, had many children, prominent farmer, had relatives in Webster and Murrany Co, GA. Left there abt 1880 and went to Murray Co and died at son's home in 1889. Need any children descendants still living and any background on B. and Franklin Co.
