Daniel Holcombe HARDAWAY & Elizabeth SNOW married in Randolph Co. GA on 05 Jan 1851. After only about 7 years of marriage, she died in GA. Where is she buried? Where are the descendants of her siblings? Elizabeth's father: Elias(or Eli?) SNOW; brothers: James M., John R., & Levi ?; sisters: Nancy, Mary Ann, & M.J.(Martha Jane?)?

Please share your information about this couple, or his 2 brothers & wives, who all migrated to Texas around 1858:

John Madison HARDAWAY & Rebecca (MCGOWAN?);

James Jefferson HARDAWAY & Mary Adeline TYE;

They are last enumerated in the Randolph Co. Ga census, 8th District, in 1850.

Elizabeth & Daniel HARDAWAY had 4 children, all born in Georgia:

Jessy, Thomas, Lavenia Elizabeth, and Amanda Isabella.

Between 1860-1870 the brothers Daniel & John met their demise. Our families have never known what happened to them.

The 2 missing men were last enumerated on the 1860 Upshur Co. TX census, and no known records exist after that. Their names have not been found listed on the muster rolls for CSA.

SNOWS & HARDAWAYS.....please write to me.....I am waiting eagerly to hear from you! The Texas descendants wish to learn more about their Georgia roots.

There is a Joseph Thomas PRICE in Company K 31st. Ga. from Terrell County and a Joseph PRICE Company F 51st Ga also from Terrell County. I believe these to be the brothers of my third greatgrandfather Dr. Jon Edward PRICE who was born in Columbia South Carolina 2/Sep/1826. Joseph of the 51st Ga was born in 1829. Joseph Thomas was born in 1831. If there is anyone doing research on these please contact me.

I am seeking information on the parents of Joseph Thomas PRICE possible date of birth 1831 he died in the War Between The States in 1862. In Terrell County. Now someone I had been in contact with said he thought that Joseph T. may have been a brother of my Dr. Jon Edward PRICE. He showed up in Alabama in 1846, where he married Mila Henrietta KIRKLAND.
