I have immigration & naturalization papers and other items for Felix WELCH, who married my great grandmother, Laura WARD/DEEGAN/MIMS in 1898. Not a tremendous amount of information, but probably of interest to any blood relatives (I descend from DEEGAN line).

PRICE posted by Jacob L. Bateman III on Saturday, September 28, 2002

My ancestor is Dr. Jon Edward PRICE d.b. 2/Sept/1826. He first appeared in Abbeville, Alabama in 1846, where he married Mila KIRKLAND. He died 26/Mar/1898 in Headland, Alabama. I believe he may have been in Terrell County before that. There was a Joseph Thomas PRICE d.b. 1831 South Carolina whom I believe to be his Dr. PRICE's brother in Terrell County Ga. He died in 1862. Joseph T. enlisted in Company K 31st Ga. I am interested in locating Joseph Thomas PRICE's grave, and that of his mother. Hepzibah McCRELLES. Joseph's father also named Joseph I believed died in 1832 in South Carolina.

HART, HOGUE, SMITH posted by Mary Beth Marchant on Saturday, October 12, 2002

Looking for any information especially relative to 1880 census in Terrell County. My Great Great Grandfather, Benjamin Tarpley SMITH was living in Terrell County in 1870, Dawson Post Office address, along with his wife Elizabeth and two children, Mary and Charles. Also living in next dwelling was his son in law, George HART with wife, Clarinda Smith HART. I believe they were also in Terrell County in 1880. I need to see where Benjamin SMITH says his parents were born. This may solve a mystery. Also living in Terrell County in 1880 was William Anson HOGUE with wife, Mary Elizabeth SMITH who was Benjamin's daughter. Appreciate any information available. Mary Beth Marchant
