My family line is from Terrell County. At least my G-father and my GGFather. I am looking for more information regarding the Guy Chambless Sr. line. Guy Jr. from Nahunta. GA. was my grandfather. The following is as far back as I have been able to go. Guy Jr.(b.1921-d.1986)& Ruth McCurdy, Guy Sr (b.1895-d.?).& Vera Long, William Jesse(b.1866-d.1908) & Leila Viola Miller, Doc (real name?)(b.1836-d.1910)& Alleny Sivil Slocumb, and finally Wiiliam C. (b.1803-d?) & Mary Polly Huckabee(Huckaby?). The question I have is does anyone know where Willaim C. was from who his parents were, or how I can find out? Does the spelling of the name in this line ever change to "Chambliss?" Thanks in advance for all the help you can give. Matt
